???Project Completion Announcement ??? ? The General Services Department is excited to announce the successful completion of Fire Station 1 Reroofing Project. The project consisted of performing essential maintenance on the flat roof, which hadn’t been serviced in 10 years. The team conducted a thorough assessment, removed debris, resealed key areas, and installed a new roof membrane to ensure its longevity and reliability. We have a winner! The official 2025 City of Torrance Rose Parade Float has arrived, courtesy of Sumisha Gottipaty from West High School!??? ? Featuring the vibrant colors of a lush, tropical landscape, this float is sure to delight and inspire. Continuing with the Torrance Rose Float Association’s long-standing tradition of hosting a float design contest, this entry will be brought to life by our AES team! Sumisha will be treated to a ride on the “TV side of the float” as it rolls down the street on New Year’s Day at the Rose Parade on January 1 – congratulations, Sumisha!
