In recent months, our Transportation Department has rolled out an innovative pilot training program aimed at facilitating promotional opportunities for employees interested in Equipment Operator positions. Our seasoned equipment operators, supervisors, and superintendents lead the comprehensive training process as part of our commitment to developing City staff. This program also addresses our objective of filling historically challenging classifications and staffing the newly formed FY25 Mill, Pave, and Street Reconstruction teams.
