The City of Pomona is proud to announce that its Purchasing Division has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) Award from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. This esteemed recognition is awarded to agencies that demonstrate a strong commitment to procurement excellence. The AEP Award celebrates organizations that lead in Innovation, Professionalism, Productivity, Leadership, and e-Procurement. For 2024, 198 agencies were recognized for their excellence, including 72 cities, 49 counties, 25 special districts, and more. We are thrilled to be among this distinguished group! To earn this award, agencies must meet rigorous criteria covering procurement ethics, professional development, P-Card policy, continuous improvement, and the use of e-procurement and automated technologies.
