After a national search, Sharon was selected for her exceptional expertise, leadership and passion for public service. She officially starts Dec. 30. With 20+ years of experience, Sharon has led diverse utilities operations, most recently in Arvada. Her academic background includes master’s degrees in public administration, a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. "I am excited about the opportunity to become part of this community and to advance the work we need to do to ensure high-quality, resilient and affordable utility services," said Israel.
