Big News! The City of East Palo Alto’s Second Pedestrian Bridge is Nearing Completion! ?? Since the City’s incorporation, connecting residents from the west side to the east side has been a top priority. Soon, East Palo Alto will have two pedestrian bridges linking our neighborhoods and making it safer and easier to walk or bike across the city. Our City Councilmembers and City staff recently toured the new bridge and got an exclusive look at its innovative design. The bridge is engineered with expandable joints to enhance durability and withstand earthquakes, a vital feature for our region. We’re excited to open this bridge soon and continue building a more connected and resilient city. . . . #EastPaloAlto #PedestrianBridge #EarthquakeResilience #CityofEPA

The community showed up and showed out during a community meeting on City Council strategic priorities! Community members shared valuable input on our city's strengths, challenges, and priorities—including emergency preparedness, public safety, economic and workforce development, affordable housing, and quality of life services. Following the interactive workshop, City Council held a study session, and many of their top priorities aligned with what the community shared. Your voice matters—let’s keep the conversation going!
