The City of Bismarck is proposing an extension of Tyler Parkway between Valley Drive and Cogburn Road. This extension would cross Tyler Coulee and improve connectivity and emergency service response time in northwest Bismarck. Additionally, safety improvements will be studied along the corridor between Century Avenue and Ash Coulee Drive. This project is proposed to be funded through half-cent sales tax with construction anticipated in 2026. Knife River Corporation has provided an update on the South Washington reconstruction project: https://lnkd.in/guy2i3fJ. Please note there are upcoming, permanent traffic pattern changes within the project. Additional work including landscaping (planting trees and placing rock), chip seal on Burleigh Ave., as well as miscellaneous repair and adjustment items are scheduled for 2025.
