And that's a wrap on our annual surf camp with YES this Summer!??????♂? ?? We had an incredible time watching these Boston youths experience the joy of surfing and the camaraderie with their community. It was a privilege to work with both returning participants and new YES faces in Hampton, NH. Being able to provide an environment for them to learn and experience new things while building upon their skills and confidence in the water made it all worth it! The Oak Square YMCA has been a cornerstone of the Brighton community for decades. Last week, we continued our support for this fantastic organization with a $10,000 donation in support for helping youth and teens develop essential skills and healthy habits for life. Thanks to the amazing team at the Y, we toured the facilities and got to meet their teen leaders. It was heartwarming to see kids enjoying a safe, educational, and fun environment within the local community. Making waves and spreading smiles ???? Our City Kid's 8th annual surf camp with the Cape Verdean Association of Boston was a huge success! We had the privilege of hosting 26 incredible kids from their youth ambassador program. From catching waves to building friendships, this camp was a summer day to remember. Big shoutout to the team at Cinnamon Rainbows for lending a hand teaching the kids with our volunteers. Today, Windy thrives as a respected Boston Realtor, leveraging her diverse background to connect with clients on a deeper level. She serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters International in Brookline, MA, where her passion for communication shines.
