We’re excited to invite educational professionals and community partners to participate as panelists for our Senior Graduation Project Presentations at City Charter High School! This is a unique opportunity to engage with our talented seniors as they showcase their capstone projects—an impressive culmination of the skills they’ve developed over their four years of high school. ?? Dates & Times: Thursday, December 5th | 11:00 AM – 2:45 PM Friday, December 6th | 11:00 AM – 2:45 PM ?? Location: City Charter High School 201 Stanwix Street, Suite 100 Pittsburgh, PA 15222 ??What to Expect: - Presentations: Students will present on a wide range of topics, including health concerns, social issues, hobbies, career investigations, and more. - Engagement: Panelists will watch 4+ presentations (20-25 minutes each), ask students about their process and challenges, and provide valuable feedback using a grading rubric. - Networking & Refreshments: Enjoy an open session with light refreshments before diving into the presentations. ?Schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Open session with light refreshments 11:30 AM – 11:35 AM: Overview session in the auditorium 11:40 AM – 2:45 PM: Presentations and scoring ?Why Participate? Earlier this month, City High seniors in the Science & Manufacturing elective went to the Industrial Arts Workshop to learn about welding and different metalworking techniques. They used what they learned to design and build a unique piece of art out of metal! @industrial_arts_workshop #STEAM
