关于我们

City Care exists to do the work few others are willing to do. We believe in the intrinsic value of every person. It is with love and compassion we advocate for the overlooked in our community. We provide food for the hungry, relief for the hurting, and hold space for complete restoration of lives that have gotten off course. With enough endurance, we witness, firsthand, remarkable stories of transformation.

For our neighbors experiencing homelessness, access to reliable transportation can be the key to securing housing, finding employment, accessing healthcare, and meeting essential needs. That’s why MOE, City Care’s complimentary shuttle service, has been providing weekday routes to 17 service providers across OKC since 2023—helping individuals take critical steps toward stability. ?? We’re thrilled to announce that the Wegener Foundation has awarded City Care a $10,000 grant to support MOE! ?? For over 65 years, the Wegener Foundation has been a dedicated champion of charitable organizations in our city, and we are honored to partner with them. Their generosity will help us connect more of our unhoused neighbors with the resources they need to move forward—because every connection counts. Thank you, Wegener Foundation, for investing in mobility, dignity, and opportunity for our community!

Before the sun came up this morning, teams all over Oklahoma City have been hard at work. Each year, City Care participates in the annual Point In Time Count or PIT. This count is crucial to ensuring we are serving our neighbors with accurate data to plan for the future. Our teams in OKC and in Norman will be out talking with those in shelters as well as encampments across both cities. This work is far from over.
