Thank you to all who joined us for D.C. Environmental Networks February breakfast on protecting D.C. wildlife, pets, and people from rodenticide. We hope this will be a start to achieving a safer city for wildlife, pets, and people alike. It is 2025 and DC'S Bird-Safe Buildings Law has gone into effect. What does this mean? New buildings in DC will no longer drive the epidemic of bird collisions responsible for 1 BILLION deaths in the US. All new builds and major renovations must simply use materials rated by American Bird Conservancy. Share your favorite bird in the comments if you're a fan, and go celebrate with DC Bird Alliance!
