Lovey, an 8-year-old Labrador, presented with lethargy and increased thirst. After initial treatment, she returned with similar symptoms, and diagnostics revealed a splenic mass. Concerned about cancer, her owners chose supportive care and a non-invasive test, which was negative. Lovey had a splenectomy, revealing a benign hematoma, and recovered well.
