关于我们
The City Rescue Mission (CRM) is a privately funded, not-for-profit Christian organization that has continuously provided help to the homeless and needy in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida since 1946. CRM was established by a group of Christian businessmen who saw a need to help alcoholics in the Jacksonville area. Their goal at the time (1946) was to offer “soup, soap and salvation”. The original mission has evolved into a privately funded organization whose mission is to serve the homeless and needy through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. In addition to CRM's emergency overnight shelter and food services, CRM also offers the LifeBuilders Program. LifeBuilders is a Bible-based, residential, transformation program and is Jacksonville’s only non-denominational Christian, long-term residential recovery program. Participants in the LifeBuilders Program live at the McDuff campus for approximately 18 months, making a commitment to abide by all requirements which will ultimately enable them to rediscover how to care for themselves and their families.

Our Executive Director, Paul Stasi and his wife Laurie Stasi, attended the DC Forum this week alongside other Citygate Network members, including 100 other mission leaders from 63 missions in 30 states from Florida to Alaska, and New York to California. This Forum comes at a pivotal time as a new administration transitions into the White House. It gave us an unmatched opportunity to engage with lawmakers, gain insights into critical policy changes, and advocate for social services in Northeast Florida. “With President Trump’s Joint Session Speech, this was a very busy week in DC, but I was able to have impactful discussions with members of Congress and their staff and communicate the needs of those we serve,” said Paul Stasi. Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us to "speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute and defend the rights of the poor and needy." "We all did; and I believe that this could be the time for positive change," said Stasi. We are thankful for meetings with Stasi held with Senator Rick Scott and Ashley Moody's office, as well as Congressman Aaron Bean and Congressman John Rutherford. #LetsGettoWork #NorthEastFlorida

Who is CRM? Since 1946, City Rescue Mission has been serving those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. What started with "soup, soap, and salvation" has grown into a comprehensive program helping people rebuild their lives. It’s a blessing to do this work—and we’re inspired every day by the resilience of the people we serve. We couldn’t do it without the incredible support of individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations standing with us. We’ve come a long way, and we’re just getting started?? #Since1946 #Jacksonville

Meet Rick. Rick’s life came crumbling down after the COVID pandemic. He lost his job and his connections with his family – and then experienced homelessness. At the Mission, he’s building a new foundation on God’s Word that will give him the strength to weather any storm. He’s looking forward to giving back and sharing hope with others through his story – made possible by gifts from friends like you. We’re so grateful for your partnership and pray for your continued support. ___ City Rescue Mission (CRM) is dedicated to providing housing, one-on-one counseling, career services, addiction recovery, spiritual mentorship and so much more for needy individuals in Jacksonville and beyond. But we can’t do it alone! Visit CRMJAX.org to get involved or make a donation.
