Where's Willis? ?? On Monday, November 11 the City of Westfield hosted the Veterans Day Ceremony at The Bridgewater Club. The Mayor gave remarks on his time in the service, interviewed poster and essay winners, and gave away a Chair of Honor to a local veteran. ?? Mayor Willis, the City of Westfield, and Chatham Hills announced on November 13 that the LIV Golf tournament is coming to Westfield in August 2025. ?? Mayor's Quarter 4 Town Hall kicked off at 7 p.m. on November 14 at The Bridgewater Club. He spoke on city updates, 2025 projects, and much more! ?? Mayor Willis' first State of the City address happened on November 21 at the IMMI Conference Center. His presentation focused on all the updates he has made to the city, new pillars, and the nearly $1 billion in investments. ?? Right after his State of the City, Mayor Willis visited Maple Glen Elementary School and interacted with students and spoke about city government.

City of Westfield offices will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 2. Have a great week!

Westfield Mayor Scott Willis delivered his inaugural State of the City address to more than 400 guests at the Westfield Chamber of Commerce's November luncheon this afternoon at IMMI Conference Center. In his address, he recapped a transformative year for the city and outlined his administration's continued progress. Reflecting on the challenges and achievements of 2024, Willis shared his vision for the future of Westfield, focusing on key areas of growth, infrastructure, and community engagement. "2024 has been a record year for investment in Westfield," stated Willis. "When I asked my staff to total the investment of our announced projects for this year, the number nearly hit $1 billion. It's incredible, and the energy around these investments is nothing short of exciting." Since taking office in January 2024, Mayor Willis, newly elected Clerk-Treasurer Marla Ailor, and all seven city councilors have worked to set a strong foundation for the city’s future.
