??ALERT: The West Fargo City Commission approved renewal of the Neighborhood Revitalization Program during the March 17, 2025 meeting. This program is a partnership between the City of West Fargo and Gate City Bank to offer low interest loans and technical assistance to homeowners making major home improvements. Gate City Bank has once again set aside $2,000,000 for projects in West Fargo. Owner occupied, single family homes valued at less than $300,000 and located north of I-94 within West Fargo municipal boundaries are eligible to apply. Projects with costs that range from $10,000 to $100,000 are eligible for a 10 or 15-year loan at rates starting at 4.49% APR. Loans are available to finance new homes, not yet under construction. Applications are open through Oct. 31, 2025. The Neighborhood Revitalization Program focuses on reinvesting in West Fargo’s older, aging neighborhoods – a key goal of the West Fargo 2.0 Comprehensive Plan. The program is available for improvements that address code and structural corrections, energy improvements and general property improvements. Projects must include one of the following: foundation work, major exterior improvements, addition of bedroom or living space, major interior remodeling, replacement of major mechanical systems, conversion of a rental unit into an owner-occupied home, or sewer/water connection replacements. Since the program's inception in 2019, over $1,941,685 in loans have been issued to 57 different projects. Application and more information can be found at https://lnkd.in/gpZBSiNE

Mayor Dardis has declared March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month in West Fargo. The proclamation reads, in part: "The bleeding disorders community’s relationships with policymakers have fostered numerous medical and policy advancements beneficial to all those affected by bleeding disorders and their loved ones and this Awareness Month will foster a greater sense of community and shared purpose among individuals with an inheritable bleeding disorders." A special thank you to the family who brought this proclamation to us - we're proud to support you in your efforts to bring awareness of bleeding disorders and prevention of illness and disability.

The Application period for the 2025 Primary Residence Tax Credit is now open through March 31! ? If you own a home in North Dakota, and utilize it as your primary residence, you are eligible for up to $500 in credit on your 2025 tax statement. There are no age or income restrictions. Note - this credit will apply to your 2025 tax statement, mailed in December 2025. Even if you received this credit in 2024 you must reapply in 2025. You're Invited! ?? Join us and the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce (FMWF Chamber) for a Ribbon Cutting and Open House at West Fargo City Hall, 2515 6th St. E, Monday, March 17, 2025. A Ribbon Cutting will take place at 4 p.m. followed by guided tours of City Hall and the City Commission Chambers until 5 p.m. The Regular West Fargo City Commission Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. West Fargo City Hall moved to 2515 6th St. E. in June 2024 and a new City Commission Chambers was completed in January 2025. City Hall will also house a Satellite Location of the West Fargo Public Library, opening March 18, 2025.

The West Fargo Planning & Zoning Commission is accepting applicants for a term beginning in April 2025. ?? Submit your application at https://lnkd.in/gTDbFxCN This Commission makes recommendations to the West Fargo City Commission regarding the the City's subdivision and zoning regulations, and holds hearings on the zoning of property located in West Fargo. The Planning & Zoning Commission meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at West Fargo City Hall. Applicants must live within the West Fargo city limits. Application review will begin March 31.
