Cyclyx is pleased to partner with the City Of Tyler - Municipal Government, TX, to expand the types of plastics residents can drop off at the Downtown Tyler Recycle Center to include plastics #1-5. Shopping bags, plastic films, yogurt cups, straws, hangers, and more are now accepted. Through this collaboration, more plastic waste can be kept out of landfills and redirected onto a recycling pathway. Previously, only plastics #1 and #2 were accepted due to processing limitations. Residents can drop off plastics at the Downtown Recycle Center Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM and Saturday from 8AM to noon.
