A few of our commissions have vacancies with deadlines to apply right around the corner! Transportation Advisory Commission: Advise the City Council on various public transportation matters, including service levels, routes, rules, rates, infrastructure needs, budgets, and long-term planning, while promoting community outreach and recommending ordinances or changes based on public input. Deadline: March 28 Youth Advisory Commission: Help coordinate exciting teen programs and events, engage in local government and make an impact, represent your voice in the community and develop valuable leadership skills. Must be a teen entering 9th-12th in the TUSD District in 2025. Deadline: April 18 Environmental Sustainability Commission: Help shape policies that protect and enhance our environment, including air, water, and land. You'll also advocate for sustainability, advise the City Council, and promote education on environmental issues. Must be a teen entering 9th-12th in the TUSD District in 2025. Deadline: March 28 Applications can be found at CityofTracy.org under the government section, then click on the commission you're interested in being part of.
