关于我们
Tempe is a technology and business magnet, an inclusive, caring community and a hub for recreation and adventure. Tempe is located in the center of the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area just 10 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. Home to Arizona State University, Tempe is among Arizona's most educated cities. About 40 percent of our residents over the age of 25 have Bachelor's degrees and 18 percent have doctorates. This lends itself to a creative, smart atmosphere where anything seems possible. The City of Tempe government employs about 1,600 people in a wide range of professional jobs such as engineers, planners, water quality specialists, parks professionals and managers. We value creativity, innovation, integrity and diversity. Tempe is an Equal Pay employer. Visit www.tempe.gov/economicdevelopment for our community profile, our key industries and more.

?? Thanks to Valley Metro for bringing us along for the ride – Operation Blue Ride. Our HOPE team and Tempe Police teamed up to offer resources to unsheltered people on buses and at bus shelters. The result? 31 people contacted, 12 bus stops checked and 10 people engaged about services. We are always on board with Operation Blue Ride to help more people in need across our city.
