We send our warm congratulations to Airport Police Officer Mark Mack, who has been named St. Louis Lambert International Airport's 2024 Catch Us Giving Ambassador! ❤️ Officer Mack went above and beyond while assisting a 4-year-old child with autism, providing not only exceptional service but also compassion, patience, and professionalism in a moment that mattered deeply to the family involved. The Catch Us Giving (CUG) program celebrates team members across the airport who exemplify outstanding customer service — and Officer Mack’s actions are a shining example of the care and dedication that define our airport community. Thank you, Officer Mack, for your incredible service and for representing the very best of the City of St. Louis. #CatchUsGiving #STLairport #PublicService #CustomerCare #ThankYou

Big news for St. Louis! 🎉 Mayor Tishaura Jones opened the first of four Digital Learning Labs at Tandy Recreation Center today, giving residents access to free computers, internet, and digital literacy training. This initiative will empower St. Louisans of all ages to thrive in the digital age. This project is a powerful collaboration between the St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) and the City of St. Louis, with vital coordination from the Department of Parks, Recreation & Forestry, the Information Technology Service Agency, and the Board of Public Service. A special thank you to the BJC Foundation, Dell Tech, and AHEAD for their generous donation of technology equipment. NPower will be staffing the Community Help Desk and providing digital navigators at all four labs, located at Tandy, Wohl, 12th & Park, and Marquette recreation centers. Currently Open: 📍 The Tandy Learning Lab 📅 Mondays through Thursdays; Fridays ⏰ 10 a.m. to 7 p.m; 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. More labs opening in April! Read more: https://lnkd.in/gACx5FA4

Good news for everyone who loves big and small events in St. Louis! We just launched OneStopGov, a new digital portal for interactions with the City. First up are special events permits, which used to require going to several City offices. Now, you can do it all online. We’ll continue to find more ways to get more things online to save residents and businesses a lot of time. What process would you like to see on OneStopGov soon? Let us know in the comments!

A water main break near Grand Blvd. and Holly Hills Ave. has caused lower water pressure in some areas. There is no boil advisory at this time. The Water Division will be making repairs, and we will share an update when we know more. Unrelated to this water main break, the Howard Bend water treatment plant lost power in the storm. We are working with Ameren to have power restored and expect that to be completed by 5 p.m. This is not currently affecting the supply of water.

🔍 Did you know? You don’t have to be a City of St. Louis resident to apply for most City jobs! We still hear from people who think residency is required, but that changed on August 28, 2023, when the Department of Personnel removed the residency requirement following action by the Missouri State Legislature. This means more opportunities for talented professionals who want to make a difference in St. Louis—whether you live in the city or beyond. However, employees in public safety and emergency response roles must still reside within a one-hour response time of their assigned workplace to ensure quick action in emergencies. 📢 The City of St. Louis is hiring! If you're looking for a meaningful career where you can serve the community, explore open positions here: https://lnkd.in/dzDK_YJR
