St. Louis is embracing the urban qualities that made our city thrive—walkability, connectivity, and vibrant neighborhoods. Last night, the Planning Commission adopted a modern Strategic Land Use Plan (SLUP) that will shape the future of St. Louis, fostering sustainable growth and revitalization. "For the past century, American cities have prioritized cars and sprawl, often at the expense of the people who live here. With the new SLUP, we are turning a corner—making St. Louis a more walkable, dynamic city full of opportunity," said Mayor Tishaura Jones. "This plan is a critical step in reversing decades of population loss by investing in both people and place." Learn more about the SLUP at https://www.slup-stl.com

❄️ Snow Is Falling in STL—Here’s What You Need to Know ❄️ Winter weather has arrived in St. Louis, and City crews are actively working to keep roads safe. Here’s what residents need to know: 🚛 Plowing & Salting: Full crews are deployed in 12-hour shifts to plow and salt as needed. 🚗 Snow Routes: Do not park on designated snow routes. Plows push snow to the side, and vehicles left on these routes will get plowed in or towed if parked more than 12 inches from the curb. 🏠 Sidewalks: Residents and businesses are responsible for shoveling their sidewalks. ⛰️ Hilly Areas: Wednesday (9 AM - 5 PM), residents should park on the odd-numbered side of the street. 🗑️ Trash Collection: No delays are expected, but we’re monitoring conditions. 📍 Check the Snow Route Map Here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eKnxGMF6
