We are thrilled to share that City Manager Bryan Heck was awarded the prestigious "Profile in Courage Award" today at the Ohio City/County Management Association Annual Conference. This recognition honors Bryan's exceptional leadership during Springfield’s challenging 2024, a year marked by national immigration debates that brought both misinformation and personal threats to our community. Mayor Rob Rue had the honor of presenting Bryan with the award, along with a Proclamation declaring February 27, 2025, as "City Manager’s Day." Rob took a moment to express deep gratitude for Bryan's unwavering integrity, ethical decision-making, and commitment to transparency. Most importantly, Bryan’s dedication to engaging all community stakeholders during such a difficult time reflects his true leadership and dedication to Springfield. Please join us in celebrating Bryan’s remarkable contributions to our city! #ForwardTogether #OCMA2025 #LocalGovernment #Leadership
