Thanks to Iowa Economic Development Authority - Travel Iowa for hosting their Tourism Insider meeting at the Sioux City Public Museum! An accessible tourism panel including City Councilmember Alex Watters, Braxton Hinders with The Miracle League of Sioux City, and Kerrie Kuiper with Visit Fort Dodge challenged attendees from across the state to keep accessibility top of mind at their attractions. Think about EVERYONE when designing your space. The accessibility of Sioux City Railroad Museum, snow tubing at Cone Park Sioux City, the climbing wall at Climb Long Lines, and all the accessible amenities at The Miracle League of Sioux City were highlighted. Also included was a tour of the Orpheum Theatre and a winery, brewery, and distillery panel with Jackson Street Brewing, Oscar Carl Vineyards, Wise-I Brewing Co. and Sioux City Distilling Co. A dinner at Marto wrapped up the day. #NationalTravelandTourismWeek
