We know the anticipation has been building, but we want to remind everyone that the bridge is still closed and remains an active construction site. For your safety, please DO NOT walk or drive on the bridge until it is officially opened by INDOT tomorrow.

Road Closure Alert Heads up, everyone! Main Street between 6th and 7th Streets will be temporarily closed during normal working hours from Wednesday, December 18, through Friday, December 20 for the demolition and separation work of the former Elder Beerman near Sweet Blessings Bakery. After hours: The road will reopen for traffic, but parking on the south side of Main Street will remain restricted. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete this project safely and efficiently!
