The Plymouth City Council, Mayor and City Manager are in Washington, D.C. this week to attend the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference, which provides an opportunity for local leaders across the country to learn about advocating for their communities, discuss policies and bring back valuable insights about governance. As part of the trip, city leaders had the opportunity to meet with federal lawmakers who represent Plymouth. A big thank you to U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Rep. Kelly Morrison for taking the time to meet – we appreciate your continued support for Plymouth and the greater community.

At this year’s annual Public Safety Recognition Event, police and fire personnel, along with several residents, were honored for their hard work and dedication to the Plymouth community. Some recognized individuals included: ? Community Assistance Specialist Traci Luniewski for her customer service, support for vulnerable adults and efforts in connecting the community to vital resources. ? Sergeant Chris Kuklok for nearly three decades of leadership in SWAT operations, training and community safety. Thank you to all for your continued service to our community!

Plymouth was pleased to participate in the League of Minnesota Cities City Day on the Hill at the Minnesota State Capitol yesterday. Members of the Plymouth City Council and city staff met with state legislators to discuss local needs and priorities, and took a tour of the capitol. Thank you to our state lawmakers for taking the time to meet us – we appreciate your continued support for Plymouth and the greater community. There were smiles all around as we helped celebrate the opening of PickleX in Plymouth with a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday ???? The facility features six indoor pickleball courts as well as three event rooms for private events, equipment rentals, wellness classes and more. Congratulations, PickleX! We are excited to see pickleball playing opportunities expand for Plymouth residents and the surrounding community.
