When we say we put our BLOOD, sweat, and tears into our work, we aren't kidding! In partnership with Stanford Medicine, the City of Pleasanton hosted a blood drive on National Blood Donor Day earlier this week, and Pleasanton showed up in force! The blood drive was fully booked with over 40 donors throughout the day, which accounts for over 100 lives saved. Pleasanton employees represented over 30 of the donations. It was a great way to get to know and build relationships with coworkers…while saving lives! Thanks again Stanford Blood Center for bringing your "Bloodmobile" to our neck of the woods so we could help our community and have fun doing it! And thanks to Sharon Petrehn for organizing such an awesome event!
