City Council Canvasses November Election Results ??? In a special meeting on November 19, the City Council officially canvassed the November election results, confirming the reelection of Kimberly Holiday and welcoming Melody Ryan to the Pflugerville City Council. Outgoing Councilmember Jim McDonald was honored with a commemorative Pflugerville road sign to mark the completion of his term on the City Council. Councilmembers Holiday and Ryan also received framed certificates of election to commemorate their appointments. ?? The Communications and Marketing team received two prestigious honors at the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) conference. They earned third place for the Trail Capital of Texas video promotion and an Honorable Mention for the Operation Nessie video series campaign. ? TATOA is a professional non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the expertise of its members in developing, regulating, and managing cable television, internal communications networks, and other telecommunications systems. Through education and training, TATOA empowers its members to enhance local government communications and better serve the public.

This past weekend, we celebrated the grand opening of Pflugerville's newest Multi-Sport Court at Stone Hill Park!?? Thanks to a forward-thinking partnership with the 4ATX Foundation and Pflugerville Parks and Recreation our community now has a first-of-its-kind innovative court equipped with a unique self-rising goal system for soccer, basketball and inline hockey. The mural ‘Momentum,’ designed by Emily Eisenhart and installed by Jana Swec, adds a splash of color and energy to this space where pfamilies can gather, play and enjoy all things sport. That's My Pflugerville: Arbor Day with Julia Martinez?? In our latest episode of That’s My Pflugerville, Julia Martinez joins us to discuss the importance of healthy trees and the role they play in our community. Julia shares insights on volunteering and how residents can get involved to support a greener, more sustainable Pflugerville. Julia completed her Citizen Pforester Training, a two-day course where local experts teach the science and art of tree care. The training included a mix of classroom, field, and practical activities, covering topics such as tree anatomy, identification, planting and post-planting care.
