The City of Pensacola is seeking a dedicated Assistant City Attorney to support the City Attorney’s Office! This position is ideal for experienced prosecutors or police legal advisors looking to transition to a role that offers work-life balance while making a positive impact in our vibrant community. As an Assistant City Attorney, you will work under the guidance of the City Attorney and play a vital part in shaping the future of Pensacola. In this role, your primarily responsibilities will include: ? Advising the Pensacola Police Department and Pensacola Fire Department administration on legal matters, policies and procedures. ? Reviewing cases and claims against the Pensacola Police Department and the Pensacola Fire Department. ? Drafting and negotiating contracts that align with public safety initiatives. ? Training city employees on relevant legal topics. ? Attending Pensacola City Council meetings with the City Attorney or in the City Attorney's absence. ? Tim brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we’re so glad he’s here. We’re lucky to have you, Lucky!

Small business owners and suppliers are invited to connect at the Pensacola Supplier Development Exchange Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Sanders Beach - Corinne Jones Resource Center, for a free event featuring opportunities to market goods and services directly with local and state buyers. Hosted by the City of Pensacola, Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce and Florida Office of Supplier Development, the event will include panel discussions, presentations and networking opportunities. In January, Mayor D.C. Reeves announced his "24 for '24" priority list to provide residents with a clear understanding of the City of Pensacola's plans for 2024.
