Wednesday, October 23 is a Make a Difference Day and we are recognizing its significance with our first annual Arbor Day celebration. Participants will learn the importance of planting trees, learn proper tree care and even receive their own free tree. The event is free to participate and begins at 10 a.m. at Liberty Park.

On World Teachers Day, we recognize Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown. Mayor Goynes-Brown pursued a career in public education, following in both her parents’ footsteps, and worked for the Clark County School District for 35 years before retiring as assistant principal.

Today, we honor and remember the lives lost and the strength of our community on October 1, 2017. The resilience, unity, and compassion shown in the face of tragedy will forever be a testament to the heart of North Las Vegas and beyond. #VegasStrong

Discover the world of 3D printing and unleash your creativity! Participants will use computers to create their own 3D designs, which will then be printed by library staff using a 3D printer.
