Nearly 8 months ago, on MLK Jr. Day, City Hall staff were peacefully enjoying a day of rest at home when the unthinkable happened. A waterline in our fire suppression system on the 2nd floor of City Hall burst, showering the entire area with gallons of water. This trickled down to the ground floor, and then even into the basement, causing huge damage and loss of equipment. ?? It's been a long road to recovery, from 3 months of insurance negotiations to sourcing contractors for the rebuild. Thankfully we're on track with repairs and hope to be back to resuming service at City Hall by mid-November! ???? In the meantime, you can still find much of our City Hall staff within reach. Our Utility Billing team is stationed at the Newberg Public Safety Building at 401 E Third Street, while our Community Development Staff are handling all your permitting, engineering, and planning needs at the Wastewater Treatment Plant Admin building over at 2301 NE Wynooski Rd.
