This year, the City of New Brighton will be actively promoting Small Business Saturday (11/30), a national day when people are encouraged to shop local and help our community thrive! City staff has done our best to reach out to every small business owner in the community to get your permission to highlight your business free of charge. The New Brighton License Bureau is looking to add a Part Time Clerk to their team! If you are someone who love working with people and enjoys staying busy, this may be the job for you! This position would fill a space at our front counter working directly with the public on Driver's License, Motor Vehicle, DNR and Game licenses. Staff stay busy moving around all day while working as a team in this fast paced environment. This Saturday, the City of Roseville will be hosting an EV Ride and Drive event open to New Brighton residents.?Attendees will be invited to explore electric transportation options, including both electric vehicles and electric bicycles, all in a low-pressure learning environment!? Some vehicles will be available to test drive/ride, and representatives from Xcel Energy, charging companies, and city/county staff will be there to answer your questions. Tomorrow is the 28th annual Walk and Roll to School Day! This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to have fun, get active, and promote safety in our neighborhoods and near schools. #WalkandRolltoSchoolDay Events like these support our Living Streets Policy, which aims to create safer and more connected routes for walking and biking throughout New Brighton. By designing these pathways with our schools in mind, we’re encouraging healthy habits for all our residents, especially our youngest ones.
