What a great week it was at the #CityOfMilton as we celebrated remarkable team members whose dedication and commitment truly reflect our City’s five Core Values. Last Friday evening’s special team event was the third annual such festivities to honor those who consistently go the extra mile for our community and each other. #CityOfMilton is looking for its next Community Development Director - a multi-faceted role that's vital to the functioning of the City and its service to residents. The City's Community Development Department is currently led by Bob Buscemi, who has played a pivotal role in Milton's evolution for many years. He'll transition to a new director's role focused on creating the #DeerfieldImplementationPlan - a working vision for the future of that important section of Milton. As he does, the City plans to bring on a qualified individual to steer a department that has a wide array of responsibilities including planning, permitting, code enforcement, tree conversation, and much more.
