?? Crime Prevention in a Growing City ?? Maricopa's Chief Mark Goodman presented at City Council last night, recapping the department's efforts to keep Maricopa safe. In 2024, Maricopa saw a 1% reduction in crime per capita on top of 2023's 10% reduction. That is all while our city population grows at 6 to 7% per year according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
