New Park Equipment Approved by Type B and City Council We are thrilled to announce that the Type B Board and the City Council have officially approved the installation of a brand-new play structure and so much more! This exciting addition to our community has been long awaited and will provide a fantastic space for children and families to enjoy for years to come. The play structure will feature state-of-the-art equipment, designed to inspire creativity and promote active play. With a variety of activities for kids of all ages, this new playground is sure to become a favorite gathering spot for families across the city. Construction and installation are expected to be completed by the beginning of spring. Just in time for warmer weather, we can’t wait to see the smiles on our community’s faces as they explore this fun-filled new play area! Stay tuned for updates on the project’s progress. May 2024 While on a medical call for service, Firefighter Yerigan observed the patient and his caretaker that lived with him had not eaten in the past few days. After interviewing them further he realized they were unable to obtain food due to a lack of funds. After the patient was transported, Firefighter Yerigan immediately went to the grocery store and purchased food with his own money and delivered it to the caretaker. His actions exemplifies his character and selfless dedication to the community he serves. Firefighter Yerigan's actions are a true testament to the spirit of service that firefighters embody.
