This afternoon, Mayor Donna Deegan and emergency management officials from JaxReady, Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, JEA, Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), Duval County Public Schools, and the US National Weather Service Jacksonville Florida provided the final update on Hurricane Milton: ?? We remain under a Tropical Storm and Storm Surge warning, though we expect to drop the Tropical Storm Warning later today. ?? There is still a risk of tidal flooding today between 1-5pm when it’s high tide. The highest risk is in San Marco, Riverside, and Southampton, though you should stay alert if you live in one of the typical flood prone areas. ?? 630-CITY available until 5pm tonight ??
