?? Patriot Pickle, Announces the Grand Opening of a New, State-of-the-Art Production Facility in City of Garland at 751 S. International Road! ?? Patriot Pickle is one of the largest manufacturers and distributers of fresh pickles and fermented foods. The new facility, which Patriot built over the course of the last nine months, will create up to an estimated #75 jobs and more than triple the company’s production capacity! The Garland location also expand Patriot’s geographic reach, enabling the company to deliver fresh, “farm to package” pickles in five days or less across the United States. “Patriot Pickle has been a tremendous partner and we’re proud to have worked closely with them on this opportunity,” said Justin Reyna, Managing Director at H.I.G. The pioneers found the black soil ideal for cotton and the communities of Duck Creek and Embree thrived on that crop. In 1886, two railroad lines built depots in the area. Eventually those two communities combined and became Garland, officially incorporated in 1891. Garland enjoys a rich history that has shaped it into the thriving metropolitan-area city that offers its residents and businesses a high quality of life, excellent educational and workforce development opportunities, and is enhanced by community leadership and partners.
