The City of Duluth is extending the search for our next leader in human rights and equity within the City. The Human Rights and Equity Officer position will play a critical role in ensuring community members’ human rights are upheld by directly overseeing the processes used for receiving, investigating and resolving complaints of discrimination under the City’s human rights ordinances in coordination with the City’s Human Rights Commission. In addition, this role has been expanded to include leading the organization’s strategic efforts to become more diverse, inclusive, and equitable.?
