Raquel brings nearly a decade of experience in municipal government, with expertise in operational management, legislative affairs, and contract oversight. She is currently pursuing a Master of Law in Health Law at Wayne State University, focusing on the intersection of environmental health and sustainability. ???? While her current work centers on operations, Raquel is passionate about shaping policies that drive sustainable, community-centered solutions for Detroit. “I’m excited to join the Office of Sustainability to strengthen operational processes while laying the groundwork for policies that promote environmental health and resilience in Detroit.
