??Friends Group Junior is a new initiative of the Office of Homeless Solutions City of Dallas (OHS) aimed at empowering youth ages 12 to 17 and their chaperones to learn more about homelessness through community service projects. The program, a spin-off of the OHS Friends Group, allows young people to serve neighbors experiencing homelessness. The first on-site volunteer opportunity is scheduled for Oct. 26. Participation in Friends Group Junior is free and open to all eligible youth. We encourage parents, guardians, and adults to join as chaperones to support these young volunteers.
