The Pavement Asset Manager will act as lead for field crew that will support Public Works by providing preliminary pavement data needed to evaluate the existing conditions of street projects as part of the Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP). The responsibilities include plans, organizes, and directs work of field crew. This position will be responsible for gathering preliminary data such as survey points, material samples, preliminary Geotech testing, and performing calculations for pavement analysis of existing streets. Qualifications: Requires an Associates Degree (AA/AS) or 2 year technical certificate. Minimum 5 years' experience is required. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. The Disposal and Compost Operations Superintendent develops and oversees technical, fiscal, and administrative operations of the JC Elliott brush drop-off, sludge hauling, compost facility, and closed JC Elliott and West Side Landfills (closed and under post-closure care) and the Cefe Valenzuela Regional Landfill (open), ensuring compliance with all monitoring and other requirements of local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 4 years' experience, with at least 2 years working in a management/supervisory role, is required. TCEQ Class A Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Operator license is required. If unlicensed, must acquire a provisional license within 6 months and a full license as per TCEQ schedule. A current MOLO license suffices until a Class A MSW license is acquired within one year.
