These five employees have made a meaningful impact through their leadership, teamwork, and dedication to public service: Jennifer White – Housing Program Coordinator, Planning & Community Development Jennifer fosters a positive team culture through open communication and continuous learning. She has improved program efficiency, expanded access for residents, and supports her staff with guidance and accountability. Lauren Balko – Director, Municipal Court Lauren promotes accountability and collaboration while creating a supportive work environment. She has successfully taken on new responsibilities and helps her team grow through transparency and trust. Kimberly Miller – Assistant Director, Aviation Kimberly leads with respect, integrity, and empathy. She supports professional development, builds strong relationships, and contributes to a positive and productive workplace. Lisa Oliver – Community Relations & Engagement Superintendent, Parks & Recreation With over 35 years of service, Lisa is known for her reliability, professionalism, and commitment to the community. She supports cross-departmental efforts and helps others succeed through mentorship and teamwork. Julie Sandoval – Assistant Director, Finance Julie has strengthened her team by promoting communication, providing support, and encouraging growth. Her focus on employee well-being and improvement has made a noticeable difference in her department. This week, Corpus Christi Water will increase water transport to the maximum level within the Mary Rhodes Pipeline. The delivered amount will increase by an additional 20MGDs for a record sustained high of approximately 75MGDs.

The City of Corpus Christi is currently under Stage 3 Water Restrictions. Here’s what you need to know: ??No lawn watering is allowed. ??Foundation watering by drip irrigation, handheld hose or small bucket is allowed every other week on your designated watering day. ??Hand watering of trees, vegetable gardens, garden beds, shrubs, and potted plants with a handheld hose, bucket, or small watering can is allowed before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m. ??Swimming pools must have covers when not in use. ??Home car washing is limited to five-gallon bucket washing on designated days. In its first year, the free monthly series held in partnership between the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, and VF Productions has hosted nine events and attracted nearly 700 participants! Neighborhood Fitness engages the community in physical activity for all ages, encouraging visits to City parks in every district.
