?? Shoutout to Philip Aldridge, Assistant Director of Disposal and Compliance with Solid Waste Services, for championing innovation and sustainability in Corpus Christi! Philip has been educating the community about the advanced landfill-gas-to-energy facility at the Cefé Valenzuela Landfill in Robstown. This plant, operated by Corpus Christi Renewables, LLC, has been turning landfill gas into renewable natural gas for over a year. This month, Philip shared his expertise during an EPA webinar on the Landfill Methane Outreach Program and guided Texas A&M-Kingsville students on a plant tour.
