We're continuing our celebration of Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month with our recognition of Clara Azcunes de Ojeda, Chamblee's first Hispanic City Councilmember. Clara Azcunes de Ojeda was elected during a special election on March 16, 1999. She then ran unopposed for the same City Council seat in the November 1999 election, where she served from January 1, 2000 - December 31, 2004. #HispanicHeritageMonth2024

Before coming to Chamblee, he served 27 years at the Miami-Dade Police Department.
