Exciting Opportunity to Shape Boulder’s Future! ?????? The City of Boulder and Boulder County are launching the area’s first-ever Community Assembly. 10,000 Boulder Valley households will receive a yellow envelope in the mail with an invitation to apply. This Community Assembly will bring 48 randomly selected participants together to help shape the future of 15-minute neighborhoods—places where daily needs can be met within a short walk, roll or bike ride. Over seven full-day Saturday sessions between May and October 2025, members will learn from experts, explore solutions, and develop recommendations for policymakers as part of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update. ? Who can apply? If your household receives an invitation and you’re 16 or older, you’re eligible! No prior planning or policy experience is required. Additional seats are available for those who work or study in Boulder but don’t have a Boulder Valley address. The deadline to apply is March 21, 2025. ??
