We have raised our starting salary for Birmingham Police Officers to $58,000, created a $10,000 starting bonus, additional mental health days, $2,500 retention bonuses for existing officers, and more. The Habitat Village will include 22 new single-family homes that will provide affordable housing for area residents. It will include a community garden, playgrounds and a multi-use facility. It's official! The Coca-Cola Amphitheater will be the official name of Birmingham's newest entertainment destination. It will open summer 2025 and is set to host more than 20 shows during its initial concert season.

This weekend, the City of Birmingham hosted the 83rd Magic City Classic largest #HBCU #Football game in the nation.
