Join the Alexandria City Council tomorrow night, Tuesday, March 25, at 7 p.m. for a Legislative meeting at City Hall. The docket includes proclamations for Women's History Month and Flood Awareness Week and reports from boards, commissions, and committees. The City Council will also hear presentations from Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Executive Director Clark Mercer and the Northern Virginia Regional Commission. Action matters for consideration include the FY 2025 Capital Projects Status Report and consideration of the 2025 Emergency Operations Plan. The City Council will meet with the Alexandria Transit Company at 6:00 p.m., followed by a closed Executive Session at 6:30 p.m. The regular meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter.
