City Fields hosted our first annual Fall Fest 5K to promote a more connected Blythe Oldfield neighborhood to the rest of our City. The community showed up for this effort in a tangible way: running and walking through our neighborhood. Anna is an AmeriCorps VISTA, and will be serving with us for the next year to develop sustainable solutions through community engagement initiatives. She shares her purpose behind joining this work: "I want to be involved in my community more - especially in overlooked neighborhoods where there is a large Hispanic and Latino population." 10 Years of City Fields ?? We had a wonderful All-Star Fundraiser with our City Fields friends and family this past Saturday. It was a festive celebration of 10 years of work, and we welcomed our special guest, Brian Jordan: former All-Star player with the Atlanta Braves and an All-Pro selection with the Atlanta Falcons. Your support helped us raise $32,180.87 to "Create a Pathway" for a sustainable future for our neighbors in East Cleveland.
