On Thursday, October 17th, Citnalta was honored with the Industry Excellence Award for 50 years of success in construction by the Women Builders Council at their 20th Annual Awards Gala. Thank you to all our employees, subcontractors, vendors, peers and clients for helping us reach this milestone!

Our President, Mike Gargiulo, will be judging the most innovative engineering projects in New York State for the ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards in 2025 on behalf of the Associated General Contractors of New York State. It was a beautiful day last Sunday at Jones Beach for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk! Citnalta's C.R.E.W. believes in making a difference and supporting all of those in need. This year on Sunday, October 20, Citnalta employees, family, and friends walked in honor of those who have been affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer does not just affect women; it affects everybody. This is why we offer our sincerest gratitude, complete appreciation and many thanks to everyone that participated in supporting this cause and we look forward to continuing to be part of this very special event for many years to come.

We are so proud of our team at 14th Street for completing Milestone 1 and turning over three of nine elevators as part of MTA C&D Contract A37129. These elevators, along with many other project activities including the construction of new and rehabilitated stairs, construction of back of house spaces, utility relocation & installation, platform edge and topping reconstruction are part of the many project elements that led to this milestone. Citnalta Construction Corp. was the general contractor for the Harlem RBI Dream Charter School. The school facility was part of an innovative mixed-use building that included three components on a New York City Housing Authority site in East Harlem. Citnalta’s scope of work included the interior fit out of a 60,000 square foot building which housed 450 students in grades K-8 on floor 1-4 adjacent to the residential tower. The charter school included 18 classrooms, an art room, a music room, a science room, a cafeteria with a warming kitchen, a gym/auditorium, administrative offices, auxiliary/small group classrooms, bathrooms, and a library/media/resource room. Located on the second floor there was a 5,000 square foot office portion of the school with a separate entrance from 104th street that serviced the Harlem RBI administrative staff. #CitnaltaConstructionCorp #CivicBuilders #PastProjects
