#SundaySpotlight: Meet Paula, one of our dedicated Lead Product Analysts! Paula has been with Citizens since graduating from the University of Florida in 2006. She started her journey Citizens as an administrative assistant in internal agency, then moved into Commercial Underwriting as a Tech, progressed to an Underwriter, and eventually became an Underwriter II. From Underwriting, she says she had the opportunity to join Product Development as a Product Analyst, was promoted to Senior Product Analyst, and now holds the role as a Lead Product Analyst. She shared, “Citizens has played a significant role in helping me grow, not only in my knowledge of insurance but also in obtaining various insurance designations. I have earned my AINS, AU, and ARM Designations and have started my master’s degree at Florida State University in Risk Management and Insurance (MS-RMI). All of these achievements have been made possible with the unwavering support of the management teams I have worked with over the years." Paula also expressed what she finds most rewarding about working at Citizens is "the incredible group of people we get to network with and learn from within the organization. I have had the privilege of connecting with individuals across various departments, which has given me a broader understanding of the industry and enriched my knowledge beyond just the areas I have worked in." #TalentTuesday: Meet Tammie, one of our dedicated Talent Acquisition professionals. She started at Citizens as a contractor in November 2017. At that time, her primary responsibility was sourcing hard-to-find candidates. In January 2019, she was hired as a full-time employee doing full-cycle recruiting. Tammie continues to support our Talent Acquisition efforts and is our liaison for LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and job advertisement opportunities. As Lead Partner, she works on best practices and other projects to help optimize our talent acquisition process.
