Recently, Citian brought on Yujie Gao, MS to work as a Data Engineer. Yujie is a recent graduate of the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University (ICME).
What motivated you to work for a company like Citian??
“I was drawn to Citian by the software solutions that ADAPT and CRASH are offering governments and their residents to improve their quality of life. Citian’s mission is aligned with my passion and goal for using technology to improve urban environments.”
How has your experience at Citian helped you build on your skills and educational background?
“My experience at Citian has significantly deepened my understanding in areas like data engineering, data science, and software development. Also, collaborating with different teams, like GIS and full-stack development, has given me a broader understanding of how data, mapping, and city infrastructure come together. I had the chance to review knowledge from my undergraduate studies and it’s been fulfilling to see how it integrates with current advancements in technology.”
