I wanted to take a moment to share a wonderful experience from this past Saturday with #girlstart.org on Girls in STEM workshop, where I had the privilege of collaborating with my colleague Nithya Rajasekar. Together, we led a hands-on activity called “The Magic of Data: Turning numbers into Pictures”, giving the students a fun, engaging, and eye-opening introduction to data and analytics. It was amazing to see the kids' faces light up as they grasped new concepts—such a rewarding experience! They were especially curious about the work we do at #CITGO, and it was great to inspire them with insights into careers in STEM. CITGO Petroleum Corporation today reported its 2024 third quarter financial and operational results. "After successfully completing our planned turnaround activities this year, we were able to capture available margins in a challenging pricing environment with strong reliability and higher throughput," said CITGO President and CEO?Carlos Jordá. "We achieved an overall average crude utilization rate of 96% and set several production records in the third quarter, while safely adjusting operations in response to an active hurricane season." In 2024, we're celebrating 10 years of our Caring for Our Environment program! Through our partnerships with local organizations, we have made a positive impact in Lemont, IL. In collaboration with amazing organizations, including The Conservation Foundation, Village of Lemont, The Forge Charitable Adventures and Operation Restoration CITGO Lemont Refinery, we've achieved: ? More than 5k plants planted ?? 150 acres restored ? More than 3,500lbs. of trash removed ??
