Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCTs) Are Changing the Game Circuit Clinical is proud to support Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. in their groundbreaking siteless Phase 3 trial for a treatment for essential tremor (ET). This study perfectly shows how a fully decentralized trial (DCT) can improve patient access, comfort, and participation. ? By enabling adults with ET to participate entirely from home, we provide remote investigators to help remove traditional barriers to participation—like travel and in-person visits—while ensuring robust data collection through telehealth visits, home health nurses, and remote monitoring. A key highlight of this trial is that patients’ willingness to participate in a home-based trial improved significantly for those with essential tremors, as 50,000 patients reached out to participate.? ? At Circuit Clinical, we’re passionate about supporting the evolution of clinical trials—whether through decentralized or hybrid models—because we know that clinical trials must evolve to meet patients where they are. ? Learn more about this innovative trial and how it’s shaping the future of clinical research in this article: https://lnkd.in/eZfcx8Rs ? #DecentralizedTrials #DCT #ClinicalResearch #PatientCentricity

"...We believe community-based clinical trials will become the norm, not the outlier. To achieve this, all clinical trial stakeholders—including the FDA, drug developers, and investigators—must work together to foster a patient-centric clinical trial culture that embraces innovation and brings trials closer to potential participants. The result will be a win for everyone." ? Our work at Circuit centers around community-based research—from improving access to trials for participants to bringing research programs to new healthcare systems and their physicians. An article from STAT explores the benefits of community-based research and the role that technology, sponsors, and investigators play within this model: https://lnkd.in/d_3t2e36
